The Washington Park neighborhood group, in collaboration with Geneva’s other neighborhood associations and the City Department of Public Works, have scheduled a beautification project to take place in Pulteney Park on the morning of Sat. May 19th from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.
The brick pavers that surround the central fountain are in need of some tender, loving care and we intend to remove the grass and weeds between the pavers so that the park is in prime condition for our City’s Memorial Day Celebration on Monday, May 28th.
Please bring: a pair of light gloves, a scraping tool, such as an old screwdriver or similar tool, a pad to kneel on, a broom, and most importantly, some friends. All are welcome to join in this effort.
Also: Mark your calendars for the weekend of June 23 – 24 for Garden Walk Geneva. A dozen or more of Geneva’s top gardeners will open their gardens for viewing. This event will take place on Washington St., between Pulteney Park and Copeland Ave. Visit www.gardenwalkgeneva.com for more details.
